Presidential Primary: Votes Reflect Nigerians’ Confidence in Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda — WOPU

Working People United (WOPU) has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory at the APC presidential primaries as a reflection of Nigerians’ growing confidence in the Renewed Hope Agenda and the administration’s people-focused policies.

Working People United (WOPU) has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following his victory at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primaries, describing the outcome as a strong indication of Nigerians’ confidence in the Renewed Hope Agenda.

In a statement issued by the National Coordinator of the group, Comrade (Prince) Williams Eniredonana Akporeha, WOPU said the President’s overwhelming performance at the primaries reflected widespread acceptance of his administration’s policies and programmes across the country.

The movement noted that the votes secured by President Tinubu during the exercise demonstrated the level of trust many Nigerians still place in his leadership and reform agenda.

According to Akporeha, the support recorded at the primaries was driven by policies aimed at improving the welfare of citizens and strengthening economic opportunities for ordinary Nigerians.

“The votes recorded at the presidential primary are a clear reflection of the confidence Nigerians have in the Renewed Hope Agenda and the direction of the current administration,” the statement said.

WOPU further stated that interventions such as the Student Loan Scheme, support for small businesses, and economic stabilisation efforts had continued to resonate positively among artisans, traders, transport workers, farmers, and professionals nationwide.

The organisation maintained that its structures across the grassroots remained committed to mobilising support for the President ahead of the general election.

“We are not only celebrating the outcome of the primary election, but also reaffirming our commitment to ensuring the success of the Renewed Hope vision for the benefit of working people across Nigeria,” the statement added.

The group also pledged to continue engaging its members and supporters across wards and local government areas in support of President Tinubu’s re-election bid.
