Eid-El-Kabir: APC’s Durosinmi Meseko Urges Muslims to Embrace Sacrifice, Unity, Compassion

APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, has congratulated Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir, urging Nigerians to uphold the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, peace, and compassion during the celebration.

The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, has extended warm greetings to Muslims in Nigeria and across the world on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, urging the faithful to uphold the values of sacrifice, obedience, faith, and compassion associated with the celebration.

In a goodwill message released from his office, Meseko described Eid-el-Kabir as a season of spiritual reflection and a reminder of the virtues demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim through his unwavering obedience and devotion to God.

According to the APC chieftain, the significance of the celebration goes beyond festivities, stressing that it offers an opportunity for Nigerians to reflect on the importance of patience, selflessness, tolerance, and service to humanity.

“Eid-el-Kabir is not merely a celebration, but a period that calls for sober reflection on our relationship with God and our responsibilities to one another as citizens,” Meseko stated.

He noted that the lessons of sacrifice and steadfastness associated with the season remain critical at a time when the country requires unity, understanding, and collective commitment toward national development.

Meseko also called on Nigerians, irrespective of religious or political affiliations, to use the festive period to pray for peace, stability, and economic progress in the country.

He maintained that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains committed to implementing policies and programmes aimed at improving the welfare of Nigerians and repositioning the nation for sustainable growth.

“As families and communities gather to celebrate, we should also remember the less privileged and extend love, kindness, and support to those in need. The spirit of charity and peaceful coexistence must remain at the heart of this season,” he added.

The APC spokesperson further encouraged citizens to continue promoting national unity and harmony, emphasizing that mutual respect and understanding remain essential to building a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.

He concluded by wishing the Muslim Ummah a peaceful, joyous, and spiritually fulfilling Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
