Kabba-Bunu Chairman Begins Major Secretariat Reconstruction Project
Kabba-Bunu LGA Chairman Zacchaeus Dare commences full reconstruction and remodelling of the council secretariat, with support from Governor Ahmed Ododo.
The Chairman of Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has initiated a comprehensive reconstruction and remodelling of the council secretariat, marking what he described as the most significant upgrade of the facility in years.
In a statement made available to journalists, the council boss said the project reflects the commitment of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to improving infrastructure and governance at the grassroots level.
According to him, the secretariat, which was constructed several years ago, has not witnessed a major upgrade of this scale, noting that the current intervention will involve a total rehabilitation, modern remodelling, and furnishing of the complex. He disclosed that the contractor has already mobilised to site, with work scheduled to commence on Monday, March 30, 2026.
Barr. Dare expressed appreciation to Governor Ododo for supporting developmental initiatives in Kabba-Bunu, stating that residents are pleased with the administration’s efforts and remain committed to sustaining the progress recorded.
He called on citizens of the area to continue to support the state government and the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing what he described as a track record of impactful governance in the local government.
The chairman further commended the governor’s leadership, describing the approval of the project as a landmark development for the council. He assured that the people of Kabba-Bunu would continue to reciprocate the administration’s commitment to their welfare.
Barr. Dare also expressed confidence in the capacity of HAMIF Real Estate Nigeria Limited, the firm handling the project, noting its reputation for quality delivery and professionalism. He added that the company’s track record gives assurance that the project will be executed to a high standard.
The council chairman said the project is expected to deliver a modern and functional secretariat that will enhance administrative efficiency and service delivery in the area.
