Hafiza Yahaya Bello Unveils 2603 Food and Spices Brand in Abuja

Hafiza Yahaya Bello launches 2603 Food and Spices in Abuja, introducing locally processed food products aimed at boosting Nigeria’s food industry and entrepreneurship.
A new indigenous food brand, 2603 Food and Spices, has been formally launched in Abuja by Hajiya Hafiza Yahaya Bello, wife of former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello.
The unveiling, which coincided with her 40th birthday celebration, took place at the A-Class Park Event Center and attracted a mix of dignitaries, business partners, and well-wishers. The event marked both a personal milestone and the introduction of a new player into Nigeria’s food processing sector.
Speaking at the launch, Hajiya Hafiza said the brand is driven by a commitment to quality, nutrition, and consistency, noting that it is designed to meet the increasing demand for hygienically processed, locally sourced food products for both households and commercial use.
The product range includes mixes for local delicacies such as masa, akara, moi moi, puff puff, and pancakes, among others. She explained that the products are processed under strict quality standards to ensure safety, taste, and affordability for consumers.
The new venture builds on her existing business, Ovenfair Confectioneries and Bakery, which has established a reputation for producing bread and confectionery products across Abuja and parts of the North Central region. According to her, the introduction of 2603 Food and Spices is aimed at expanding that footprint into the broader food market.
Observers at the event described the initiative as a timely contribution to Nigeria’s push for increased local production and reduced reliance on imported food items. They noted that the brand has the potential to support food security, strengthen local supply chains, and create employment opportunities within the agro-processing sector.
Guests who sampled the products commended their quality, taste, and presentation, expressing optimism about the brand’s prospects in the competitive market.
With plans for wider distribution and a focus on maintaining high standards, 2603 Food and Spices is positioning itself for growth within Nigeria’s consumer goods industry, with prospects for expansion beyond the domestic market.
