Faleke Youth Vanguard Backs Ododo’s Re-Election as Govt. Officials Commends Lawmaker
Faleke Youth Vanguard declares support for Governor Usman Ododo’s second term, as Kogi leaders praise Hon. James Faleke’s commitment to peace, unity, and development.

A political support group aligned with the Member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, has declared its backing for the re-election of Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, ahead of the next electoral cycle.
The endorsement came as prominent leaders in Kogi State commended Hon. Faleke for his sustained commitment to the peace, unity, and development of the state.
Governor Ododo, while receiving members of the Faleke Youth Vanguard at the Government House in Lokoja, described the federal lawmaker as a dedicated and selfless leader whose contributions continue to inspire political actors across the state. He urged citizens, particularly the youth, to emulate Faleke’s leadership style, which he noted is anchored on service and commitment to collective progress.
The National President of the group, Alamo Kehinde, said the decision to support Governor Ododo’s second term bid was in line with the directive of Hon. Faleke, whom he described as a leader deeply committed to the stability and advancement of Kogi State.
“We are here at the Government House to formally declare our support and endorsement of Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo for a second term in office,” Kehinde stated. “This position reflects the instruction and guidance of Hon. James Faleke, who has directed us to mobilise support for the governor in recognition of his leadership style and notable achievements, particularly in the area of security.”
Kehinde added that members of the Faleke Youth Vanguard, drawn from different zones of the state, are united in their resolve to work towards the re-election of the governor, citing improved security and governance as key factors behind their decision.
Other leaders of the group also took turns to commend Governor Ododo for what they described as visible strides in maintaining peace and stability across Kogi State, stressing that continuity in leadership would further consolidate the gains recorded so far.
Speaking at the event, Barr. Deedat Ozigi aligned with the governor’s position, describing Hon. Faleke as a strong advocate of peace and unity in Kogi State. He noted that the lawmaker’s influence continues to foster cohesion and political stability within the state.
Also speaking, the Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, commended the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, particularly in driving national reforms. He urged young people in the state to sustain their support for Governor Ododo, noting that such backing is critical to ensuring continuity in governance and development.
