APC Ward 05 Leaders, Stakeholders Rally Behind Obaro’s Second Term Bid in Yagba East

Political momentum continues to build in support of Hon. Dr. Emmanuel Obaro as leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 05 have unanimously endorsed his bid for a second term in the Kogi State House of Assembly.
The endorsement, which took place at a well-attended ward gathering, drew key party figures, government appointees, elders, and grassroots mobilisers who collectively expressed confidence in Obaro’s leadership and performance.
Leading the charge was the APC Ward 05 Chairman, Hon. Tunde Akeem Olukotun, who, alongside ward executives, declared total support for the lawmaker, citing his track record in delivering development projects and maintaining strong ties with constituents.
The meeting also witnessed the presence of prominent stakeholders, including Hon. Temitope Sule (T-Grace), Senior Special Assistant to the Governor, and the APC Chairman of Yagba East Local Government Area, Hon. Abdurazaq Olusegun Abdulkadir, both of whom aligned with the position of the ward in backing Obaro’s return to the Assembly.
Other notable figures at the gathering included the Ward 05 Councillor, Hon. Funke Moses; Special Assistant to the Local Government Chairman, Hon. Musa Lawal; and Hon. Rótìmí Fasiku, SSA to the LGA Chairman. Also present were Hon. Hassan Ibrahim, a counselorship candidate; Hon. Mohammed Obadofin; and party stalwarts represented by Hon. Abdulganiyu Salaudeen (Erukutu).
The endorsement further attracted respected political figures such as Hon. Pharmacist Jubril Ahmadu, a former Special Adviser to the Governor; Chief Ahmed Balogun (Afobaje); Hon. Chief Ayo Ojuekaiye; and Hon. Wahab Shatta, among others.
Elders of the party, led by Hon. Alhaji Salman Abdulkadir, also lent their voices in support of the lawmaker, describing his performance as commendable and worthy of continuity.
Speakers at the event emphasized that Obaro’s contributions to education, empowerment, and community development have distinguished him as a dependable representative, adding that his re-election would ensure consolidation of ongoing projects and sustained progress across Yagba East.
The Ward 05 endorsement is seen as part of a growing wave of grassroots support for Obaro ahead of the 2027 elections, as party structures across the constituency begin to align behind his second-term ambition.
