He began his early education in Kabba, where he completed both his primary and secondary schooling, laying a solid academic and moral foundation. He proceeded to Prince Abubakar Audu University (formerly Kogi State University, Anyigba), where he studied Computer Science.

During his university years, Juwon distinguished himself as a vibrant student leader and advocate for student welfare. He served as Vice President of the Kabba Students Union (2012/2013) and later as Treasurer of NAOS National (2015/2016). His leadership capacity further earned him the position of Director of Food in the Student Union Government (SUG), KSU Anyigba (2015/2016), where he played a key role in addressing student welfare issues.

He also served as Chief of Staff to the NAKOSS President at KSU and rose to become the Senate President of NAOS, demonstrating his ability to lead, coordinate, and represent diverse student interests effectively.

After completing his studies, he participated in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), further broadening his national outlook and commitment to service.

Juwon’s dedication to youth and educational development led to his appointment as Special Assistant on Students Affairs to the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, where he gained firsthand experience in governance, policy engagement, and legislative processes.

He also served as immediate past Secretary General Kabba-Bunu National Youth Council of Nigeria.

He has also played significant roles in political mobilization and strategic communication. He served as Head of Media Campaign Council for the GYB/Onoja ticket in 2019, was a Member of the Media Committee of the Kogi West APC Campaign Council, and later became Head of Media for the APC Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Campaign Council, contributing to successful grassroots engagement and political outreach.

Professionally, Juwon Oloruntoba is a Lecturer at Kogi State Polytechnic, a position he has held since 2020. In this role, he continues to shape young minds while promoting academic excellence and mentorship.

Beyond public service and politics, he is widely recognized for his commitment to educational support and youth empowerment. Between 2017 and 2018, he sponsored WAEC fees for less privileged students, and from 2017 onward, he initiated JAMB scholarship support for students before the intervention was later adopted by the state government. He has also facilitated admissions for students within and outside Kogi State and provided financial assistance to help many meet their tuition obligations.

These sustained efforts reflect his belief that education remains a critical tool for social transformation and community development.

As a House of Assembly aspirant, Juwon Oloruntoba represents a new generation of leadership rooted in service, accessibility, and grassroots connection. His track record in student leadership, public service, education, and community support positions him as a credible and capable voice for the people of Kabba-Bunu.

He is committed to advancing policies that promote education, youth empowerment, economic development, and inclusive governance, with the ultimate goal of delivering effective representation and sustainable progress for his constituency.
