2027 Elections: Okun Youth Stakeholders Promise Massive Votes for Tinubu, Ododo
The Okun Youth Stakeholders Forum has endorsed President Bola Tinubu and Kogi Governor Ahmed Ododo for re-election in 2027, pledging massive votes and grassroots mobilisation across Okun-speaking communities.

KABBA, Kogi State
The Okun Youth Stakeholders Forum has pledged massive votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in the 2027 general elections, declaring its readiness to mobilise support for both leaders across the five Okun-speaking local government areas of the state.
The forum made the declaration during an endorsement rally held at Igbo Hall in Kabba, headquarters of Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area, where thousands of youths, community representatives and political stakeholders gathered to express support for the re-election bids of the President and the Governor.
The rally featured a procession through major streets of Kabba, with enthusiastic participants singing “On Your Mandate We Shall Stand” as they marched towards the venue, signalling their commitment to the political cause they had assembled to promote.
At Igbo Hall, youth leaders and representatives from the participating local government areas took turns to commend the Tinubu and Ododo administrations, citing what they described as their respective achievements and commitment to development as reasons for supporting their return to office in 2027.
The forum maintained that its endorsement followed an assessment of the two administrations and reflected its belief that continuity in leadership would provide an opportunity to sustain ongoing programmes and consolidate development efforts at the federal and state levels.
Addressing the gathering, speakers urged young people across Okunland to remain united, politically conscious and actively involved in the democratic process ahead of the next general elections.
They argued that the 2027 elections would be an important opportunity for voters to assess the performance of political leaders and determine whether existing policies and programmes should continue.
The youth stakeholders expressed confidence in the leadership of Tinubu at the national level and Ododo in Kogi State, pledging to take their message of support to communities, wards and polling units across the Okun-speaking area.
Their commitment, they indicated, would extend beyond public declarations, with grassroots engagement and mobilisation identified as key components of their activities ahead of the elections.
The endorsement also reflects the growing interest of youth organisations in shaping political conversations and influencing electoral participation within their communities.
Beyond their pledge of electoral support, the stakeholders called for stronger collaboration between government and young people, emphasising the importance of policies that address the needs and aspirations of the youth population.
They identified employment, education, skills acquisition and greater inclusion in governance as critical areas requiring sustained attention.
According to the forum, young people should be recognised not only for their contributions during election campaigns but also as important partners in governance and community development.
The stakeholders maintained that meaningful engagement between political leaders and youth groups would help create opportunities for young people to contribute to public policy, economic growth and the development of their communities.
They also encouraged Okun youths to participate actively in the democratic process and remain engaged in discussions about the future of Kogi State and Nigeria.
The forum pledged to intensify its mobilisation efforts across the five Okun-speaking local government areas, with the aim of translating its endorsement into electoral support for Tinubu and Ododo.
The organisers expressed optimism that sustained engagement with residents and community stakeholders would strengthen the forum’s political outreach ahead of the 2027 polls.
The gathering brought together participants from across the Okun-speaking communities, highlighting the organisers’ intention to build a coordinated political support network throughout the area.
However, the pledge represents the position of the forum and its participating members. The extent of the support that the group can mobilise will ultimately be determined by voters during the elections.
The event ended with calls for unity among Okun youths, increased participation in the democratic process and sustained engagement with the Tinubu and Ododo administrations.
The organisers reiterated their commitment to mobilising support for both leaders ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing the hope that their efforts would translate into substantial votes across the Okun-speaking communities.
As political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the next electoral cycle, the endorsement places the Okun Youth Stakeholders Forum among the groups seeking to mobilise grassroots support and strengthen youth participation in the political process.
The forum’s declaration in Kabba sends a clear message about its preferred political direction for 2027, while setting the stage for further engagement with communities across the region.
