Tinubu 2027: Abejide Tasks APC Stakeholders in Dawakin Tofa to Secure Victory in Kano
Member representing Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide, has urged All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State to intensify grassroots mobilisation to ensure victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other party candidates in the 2027 general election.
Abejide made the call on Sunday while attending an APC stakeholders’ meeting convened by the Director-General of Media and Publicity to the Kano State Governor, Hon. Sanusi Bature, at Hilton Palace Hotel, Kano.
The lawmaker commended the stakeholders for their commitment to the party’s political mobilisation efforts, stressing that Kano’s electoral strength makes its contribution particularly important to the APC’s prospects in the North and across the country.
He urged them to consolidate their support at the grassroots and work towards delivering Kano State for President Tinubu in 2027.
Dawakin Tofa is the home local government of former Kano State Governor and former APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
In his remarks, Bature appreciated Abejide for attending the meeting and contributing to the party’s mobilisation efforts. He also commended the lawmaker for deploying personal resources to support empowerment initiatives among residents of Kano, describing such interventions as valuable to strengthening the APC’s relationship with the people.
Bature said the stakeholders were determined to secure victory for the APC in Dawakin Tofa, across Kano State and in other parts of the North in the next general election.
The APC stakeholders, in turn, assured Abejide of their readiness to work towards the re-election of President Tinubu and the success of other APC candidates in the state.
The meeting also followed an earlier expression of interest by some stakeholders in associating with Abejide, signalling an emerging political relationship ahead of the 2027 elections.
