The award ceremony, scheduled for June 23, 2026, at the National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja, is one of the flagship events organised annually by the respected media organisation to celebrate individuals whose contributions have significantly impacted society and national development.
According to the organisers, Prince Olusoji was selected following a thorough assessment of his humanitarian interventions, community development initiatives and support for security and social advancement across Kogi State and beyond.
Over the years, the philanthropist has earned widespread recognition for his commitment to improving the welfare of communities through the activities of the Prince Olatunji Olusoji Foundation. His contributions to security enhancement have also attracted commendation from stakeholders, particularly his donation of surveillance vehicles to security agencies and his recent support of ₦99 million to the Kogi State Security Trust Fund aimed at strengthening security operations across the state.

The annual lecture, themed “Capitalizing on Credibility: How Transparent Governance and Electoral Integrity Drive Economic and Educational Prosperity – The Nigerian Example,” is expected to bring together policymakers, academics, industry leaders, public office holders and other stakeholders to discuss governance, democratic accountability and national development.
Organisers said the event would provide a platform for robust conversations on the relationship between transparent governance, electoral credibility and sustainable economic and educational growth in Nigeria.
Distinguished scholars, governance experts and policy leaders are expected to deliver keynote presentations and share perspectives on strengthening democratic institutions and promoting development through accountability and integrity.
The ceremony will also feature the induction of selected personalities into the Good Governance Hall of Fame in recognition of their contributions to leadership, public service, community development and nation-building.
The management of The Exposure Newspaper noted that award recipients were carefully chosen based on their measurable impact on society, commitment to humanitarian causes and contributions to national progress.
In addition to the lecture and awards presentation, the media organisation is expected to unveil its newly acquired ₦150 million podcast studio equipment and formally present its completed office complex in Abuja as part of efforts to expand its media operations and enhance service delivery.
Organisers expressed confidence that the event would foster meaningful dialogue on governance, democracy and education while encouraging greater citizen participation in the nation’s development process.
