The Managing Director of the Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority, Engr. Olumoroti George Olusola, has congratulated Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke on his appointment to the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council, describing it as well deserved.

The Managing Director of the Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority, Engr. Olumoroti George Olusola, has congratulated Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke on his appointment as a member of the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council (GAC), describing the development as a deserving recognition of Faleke’s contributions to governance and grassroots development.

In a congratulatory message, Engr. Olusola said Faleke’s appointment reflects the confidence reposed in him by the leadership and people of Lagos State, citing his long-standing record of service, dedication, and commitment to progressive governance.

He noted that Faleke’s inclusion in the Governance Advisory Council, which serves as a key decision-making body in Lagos State politics, is a testament to his exemplary leadership and outstanding contributions to public service.

According to him, the appointment is not merely ceremonial but a strategic responsibility that underscores Faleke’s influence in shaping policies and promoting democratic values in one of Nigeria’s most politically significant states.

“This significant recognition is a true testament to your unwavering dedication, exceptional contributions, and visionary leadership in governance and grassroots development,” Olusola stated.

He commended the lawmaker’s consistent efforts in advancing community development and implementing people-oriented initiatives, noting that Faleke has continued to distinguish himself as a leader committed to service and effective governance.

Olusola expressed confidence that Faleke would bring the same level of dedication, competence, and strategic insight that has defined his public career into his new role on the Governance Advisory Council.

He added that the appointment presents another opportunity for Faleke to deepen his impact in governance and contribute meaningfully to the continued progress of Lagos State.

“I have no doubt that you will approach this opportunity with the same rigor and passion that have characterized your career thus far,” he said.

The Lower Niger River Basin MD also prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and guidance for Faleke as he assumes the new responsibility, expressing optimism that his tenure on the council would be marked by impactful achievements.

He further described the appointment as an inspiration to emerging leaders, stressing that Faleke’s rise within the political structure of Lagos State demonstrates the value of dedication, consistency, and purposeful leadership.

“May Almighty God continue to guide you with wisdom and discernment as you take on this important responsibility. I am confident that your service on the council will bring meaningful progress for the benefit of the people,” Olusola added.

Faleke, a prominent political figure and member of the House of Representatives representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, was recently appointed into the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council, a body regarded as the highest political advisory organ in the state.

The appointment has attracted commendations from political leaders and stakeholders, many of whom see it as a recognition of Faleke’s political experience and strategic contributions to governance.
