A political leader in Okeagi Ward 05 of Mopamuro Local Government Area has declared support for the aspiration of Hon. David Sunday Moses, popularly known as Alumo, for the Mopamuro State Constituency seat in the Kogi State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Hon. Akinola Oluropo Babatunde, the Senior Special Assistant on Rural Development to the Executive Chairman of Mopamuro Local Government, Hon. Ademola Bello (Destiny), made the endorsement while speaking with party supporters in the area.

Babatunde, who is also regarded as one of the prominent leaders in Okeagi Ward 05, said Hon. Moses possesses the leadership experience and grassroots connection required to effectively represent the people of Mopamuro at the state legislature.

According to him, the former council chairman’s record of service during his nine-year tenure as Chairman of Mopamuro Local Government demonstrates his commitment to the development and welfare of the people.

He noted that Moses’ experience in local governance and his understanding of the needs of the constituency make him a strong contender for the Assembly seat in 2027.

Babatunde therefore called on political stakeholders, party faithful and residents of Mopamuro to rally behind Moses’ aspiration in order to ensure effective representation and continued development of the constituency.

Hon. David Sunday Moses is widely known in Mopamuro politics, having previously served as Chairman of the local government for nine years, a period during which he played key roles in grassroots development and political mobilization in the area.
