National APC Youth Coalition Passes Vote of Confidence on Yagba West Chairman Tosin Olokun Over Peace, Security and Good Governance
The National APC Youth Coalition (NAYC) has passed a vote of confidence on Yagba West Local Government Chairman and Kogi ALGON Chairman, Hon. Tosin Olokun, citing his leadership in promoting peace, security, and support for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration.
The National APC Youth Coalition (NAYC) has passed a vote of confidence on the Chairman of Yagba West Local Government Area and Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Kogi State Chapter, Hon. Tosin Olokun, in recognition of what it described as his commitment to peace, security and effective grassroots governance.
In a statement signed by its Director General, Chief Aiyelabowo Adebanji Austin, the coalition commended Olokun’s leadership style, noting that his administration has continued to foster stability, unity and development in Yagba West.
According to the group, the council chairman has demonstrated a proactive approach to tackling security challenges while promoting peaceful coexistence among residents, a development it said has contributed to making Yagba West one of the relatively stable local government areas in Kogi West.
The coalition further praised Olokun for what it described as inclusive leadership and his dedication to the welfare and safety of the people, stating that his administration has inspired confidence among residents and members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
NAYC also acknowledged the local government chairman’s support for the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, saying his alignment with the governor’s development agenda has strengthened efforts to deliver good governance and sustainable development across the state.
The coalition maintained that Olokun’s contributions to grassroots governance and his commitment to advancing the ideals of the APC were deserving of recognition.
“As a result of these commendable achievements, the National APC Youth Coalition hereby passes a vote of confidence on Hon. Tosin Olokun for his outstanding leadership, commitment to peace, effective security management and unwavering support for the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo,” the statement read.
The group encouraged the council chairman to remain focused on implementing policies and programmes that would continue to improve the living standards of residents of Yagba West and contribute to the overall development of Kogi State.
It also reaffirmed its commitment to working with Olokun in promoting the principles of the APC, while advancing peace, unity and sustainable development in Kogi State and across Nigeria.
