2027: Amb. Nihi Leads Kogi Students to Support Tinubu/Ododo

Under the leadership of Amb. Oladele Nihi, student leaders across Kogi State pledge to mobilize support for President Tinubu and Governor Ododo in the 2027 elections, citing achievements in education, welfare, and youth empowerment.
Student leaders across Kogi State have formally pledged their support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, highlighting the positive impact of their administrations on education, student welfare, and academic staff support.
The commitment was made at a follow-up meeting held at Government House, Lokoja, under the leadership of Amb. Oladele Nihi, the Special Adviser to Governor Ododo on Youth and Students. The engagement brought together representatives from major student bodies, forming the platform “Kogi Student Support Group for PBAT/Ododo.”
During the meeting, student leaders outlined strategies to mobilize youth and student support across tertiary institutions in the state. They cited the administration’s achievements in educational infrastructure, scholarship programs, and improved welfare for academic staff as reasons for backing the Tinubu/ Ododo ticket in the 2027 elections.
Amb. Nihi, speaking on behalf of Governor Ododo, commended the students for their proactive engagement and encouraged them to maintain discipline, constructive leadership, and unity on campuses across Kogi State. He emphasized the critical role of youth in shaping the state’s democratic future.
Representatives from the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), Association of Nigeria Female Students (ANFS), National Association of Ebira Students (NAES), Igala Students Association (ISA), and National Association of Okun Students (NAOS) were present.
The students affirmed their readiness to support both Tinubu and Ododo actively, promising to mobilize their peers for effective civic engagement while promoting the values of unity, accountability, and youth empowerment across Kogi State.
