Chief Yomi Charles Declares Support for Tinubu, Ododo During Meeting with Okun Progressive Elites
Businessman Chief Charles Yomi Olorunshola, aka Yomi Charles reaffirms support for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Ododo during a visit by Okun League of Progressive Elites in Abuja.

ABUJA
Abuja-based businessman and political stakeholder, has reiterated his unwavering support for President and Kogi State Governor , expressing confidence in their continued leadership ahead of future elections.
Chief Yomi Charles made this known while receiving members of the Okun League of Progressive Elites, who paid him a strategic visit at his Abuja office to discuss issues surrounding unity and political advancement in the Okun region of Kogi State.
Addressing the delegation, the Chief Executive Officer of Absolute Properties and Lease Investment described both Tinubu and Ododo as leaders who have demonstrated genuine commitment to inclusive governance and regional development.
According to him, the Okun people stand to benefit significantly from sustained support for the current leadership at both the federal and state levels.
“The leadership style of President Tinubu and Governor Ododo reflects a clear understanding of the need for inclusion and development across all regions, including Okun land,” he said, adding that their track records provide a strong basis for continued backing.
Yomi Charles also stressed the importance of unity among political stakeholders in the region, noting that collective action remains critical to strengthening Okun’s political relevance and attracting greater developmental opportunities.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Hon. (Barr.) Alfred Bello, commended Olorunshola for his warm reception and forthright position on national and state leadership, describing his support as instrumental to the region’s political consolidation.
Other prominent figures present at the meeting included Hon. Philip Orebiyi, Chief Ipinmisho Shuib, Hon. James Fabola, and High Chief Eric Fiki, who all echoed the need for stronger collaboration among leaders to advance the socio-economic interests of the Okun people.
The visit forms part of ongoing consultations among key stakeholders aimed at fostering unity and aligning political strategies ahead of the next electoral cycle.
