Workers’ Day: Engr. JOS Salutes Kogi Workers, Commends Gov. Ododo’s Commitment to Workers’ Welfare

As Nigeria joins the rest of the world in commemorating this year’s Workers’ Day, Engr. Joseph Olusegun Stephen, popularly known as Engr. JOS, through his Media Crew Team, extends warm greetings and heartfelt appreciation to the resilient, hardworking, and dedicated workers of Kogi State.
Engr. JOS describes workers as the indispensable engine room of governance, development, and nation building, whose daily sacrifices, unwavering dedication, and steadfast commitment continue to sustain the economy, strengthen institutions, and drive societal progress.
According to him, the workforce remains the backbone of every prosperous society, as their labor, professionalism, and service form the very foundation upon which sustainable development is built. He notes that from the civil service to local government administration, healthcare, education, infrastructure, and other critical sectors, workers play an irreplaceable role in shaping the destiny of the state and nation.
Engr. JOS particularly celebrates Kogi workers for their resilience, diligence, patriotism, and enduring commitment to service delivery despite prevailing challenges. He emphasizes that their virtues of discipline, productivity, and loyalty are essential ingredients for building a stronger, united, and more prosperous Kogi State.
In his Workers’ Day message, Engr. JOS also heartily congratulates the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, whom he describes as the true “Chief Servant” of Kogi State, for his exemplary leadership and unwavering dedication to the welfare and wellbeing of Kogi workers at both the State and Local Government levels.
He commends Governor Ododo for demonstrating sincere commitment to workers’ interests through people oriented policies, inclusive governance, and deliberate efforts aimed at improving the standard of living of civil servants across the state.
Engr. JOS notes that Governor Ododo’s workers’ friendly disposition reflects a leadership style anchored on service, compassion, and purposeful governance, while fostering confidence among workers and reinforcing their value within the administration’s broader developmental agenda.
Furthermore, Engr. JOS charges Kogi workers to remain steadfast, committed, and loyal to the ethics and ethos of their respective services.
