A prominent political ally and grassroots mobilizer in Yagba Federal Constituency, Chief Yomi Charles Olorunshola, has congratulated Muslim faithful in Yagba Land, Kogi State, and across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
In his Sallah message, Chief Yomi Charles described Eid-El-Kabir as a sacred season that symbolizes sacrifice, faith, love, obedience, and commitment to the service of humanity. He urged Muslims to continue to uphold the virtues of peace, unity, tolerance, and compassion as taught by Islam.
According to him, the spiritual lessons of Eid should inspire Nigerians to remain hopeful and united in the collective pursuit of progress, development, and national stability.
Chief Yomi Charles also called on the people of Yagba Federal Constituency to sustain their support for the Member representing the constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Leke Joseph Abejide, describing him as a leader whose style of representation has brought visible development and impactful leadership to the people.
He noted that Rep. Abejide’s interventions in education, healthcare, road infrastructure, youth empowerment, security support, and community development have continued to distinguish him as one of the most result-oriented lawmakers from Kogi State.
“Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide has consistently demonstrated uncommon commitment to the welfare and progress of our people. His developmental projects and people-oriented leadership have positively transformed many communities across Yagba Federal Constituency,” he stated.
Chief Yomi Charles emphasized the need for continuity in leadership, saying the ongoing developmental strides across the constituency require sustained support and stability to achieve greater progress.
“As we celebrate Eid-El-Kabir, I appeal to our people to continue supporting the third term aspiration of Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide so that the good works already started can be consolidated for the benefit of present and future generations,” he added.
He further prayed for peace, prosperity, and divine blessings upon Muslim faithful and Nigerians at large, while wishing all a peaceful and fulfilling Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
