APC youth leaders in Kabba/Bunu LGA unanimously endorse Olusaiye Ayo Godwin as chairman, signaling unity and stronger grassroots mobilisation ahead of future political activities.

Youth leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the 15 wards in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area have unanimously endorsed Olusaiye Ayo Godwin as Chairman of the APC 15 Ward Youth Leaders Forum, in a move widely seen as a consolidation of unity within the party’s grassroots structure.

The decision was reached at a stakeholders’ meeting that brought together ward youth leaders and party figures from across the local government. The gathering also produced Modamori Samuel as Vice Chairman, while Ayodele Samuel emerged as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the forum.

The meeting was marked by a spirit of consensus and cooperation, with participants emphasising the need for sustained unity among young party members. Prayers and goodwill messages were offered for the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government, Hon. Barr. Zaccheus Dare Michael, in recognition of their leadership and support for youth-focused initiatives within the party.

Addressing the gathering, the APC Youth Leader in Kabba/Bunu, Hon. Oyenibi Omojola Ajon, commended the transparent and peaceful process that produced the new executives. He described the unanimous endorsement as a reflection of growing cohesion among youth leaders and a demonstration of their commitment to strengthening the party at the grassroots level.

Other youth leaders who spoke at the meeting expressed confidence in the newly elected executives, pledging their support to ensure the forum plays an active role in mobilising young people and advancing the party’s objectives across all wards.

In his acceptance speech, Olusaiye Ayo Godwin thanked his colleagues and stakeholders for the trust placed in him, assuring that his leadership would be anchored on inclusiveness, dedication, and collective progress. He pledged to work closely with all stakeholders to promote unity within the APC and support ongoing developmental efforts of the state and local government administrations.

The emergence of the new leadership is expected to energise youth participation within the party and enhance coordination among ward structures, as the APC continues to strengthen its base in Kabba/Bunu ahead of future political engagements.
