Eid-el-Fitr: NAKOSS President Felicitates Muslim Students, Calls for Unity
Kogi students’ body urges youth to uphold values of discipline, tolerance and national development
The National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS) has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful across Kogi State, Nigeria, and the diaspora on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the Ramadan fast.
In a statement issued by the association’s National Public Relations Officer, Comrade Obansa Abdulhayyu, the National President, , congratulated Muslim students and the wider Ummah for successfully completing the holy month.
He commended their devotion, discipline, and spiritual commitment throughout the fasting period, noting that such values are vital for promoting unity, peace, and moral integrity within society.
The NAKOSS President, Comr. Sunday Adeola Simon described Eid-el-Fitr as a period of gratitude, reflection, and renewed dedication to the ideals of compassion, generosity, and peaceful coexistence. He urged students and young people to sustain the virtues imbibed during Ramadan and continue to play constructive roles in community development and national progress.
He further called on Nigerians to use the festive period to strengthen unity, promote tolerance, and support one another, particularly in the face of prevailing socio-economic challenges.
The association reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare, unity, and advancement of Kogi State students, irrespective of religious or cultural backgrounds.
He prayed that the Eid celebration would bring peace, prosperity, and abundant blessings to the nation.
