Kogi Children Parliament Speaker Commends SSG, Ododo Administration for Commitment to Children’s Development

The Speaker of the 5th Kogi State Children Parliament, Amb. Abdulsalami Muhammed Mudathir, has commended the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State (SSG) and the administration of His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, for their commitment to the development and welfare of children in the state.

The Speaker made this commendation during a visit with his team to the SSG on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, where he expressed appreciation for the efforts of the state government in promoting children’s welfare and creating opportunities for their development.

During the meeting, Amb. Abdulsalami Muhammed also highlighted the forthcoming 2026 Kogi State Children Summit, scheduled for November 20, 2026, under the theme: “Building Pathways, Creating Possibilities: Every Child Deserves a Future.”

In her remarks, the SSG commended the Speaker and the member of executive council of the 5th Kogi State Children Parliament for their commitment to child advocacy and their contributions to promoting the interests and welfare of children in Kogi State.

She assured them of the state government’s support and commitment to initiatives that advance children’s development and well being.

The engagement underscores the importance of sustained collaboration between the government and child focused institutions in ensuring that every child in Kogi State has access to opportunities for growth, development and a brighter future.
