APC Ward 06 in Yagba East Backs Tinubu, Ododo, Abejide, Endorses Obaro for Second Term
APC leaders and stakeholders in Ward 06, Yagba East, endorse President Tinubu, Governor Ododo, Rep. Abejide, and back Emmanuel Obaro’s second term bid in the State Assembly.
YAGBA EAST, KOGI STATE
Leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 06, Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State, have declared their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, the member representing Yagba Federal Constituency, Hon. Leke Abejide, and the second term bid of Hon. Emmanuel Obaro as member representing Yagba East State Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly.
The endorsement was led by Hon. Sunday Paul, a key political figure in the ward, alongside party stakeholders and grassroots mobilisers, in what observers described as a show of unity and consolidation of support within the ruling party.
Also present at the gathering was the Chairman of Yagba East Local Government, Hon. Dare Joshua, popularly known as Dare Venza, who was represented by Hon. Abdulrazaq Olusegun Abdulkadir.
Addressing party members, Hon. Sunday Paul expressed appreciation to Governor Ododo for what he described as sustained support and commitment to the development of Yagba East, particularly through the local government leadership. He commended the governor for providing the necessary backing for the council chairman, noting that both leaders are indigenes of the area working towards its progress.
He said the endorsement reflected the confidence of Ward 06 members in the leadership of President Tinubu at the national level, Governor Ododo in the state, Hon. Abejide at the federal constituency, and Hon. Emmanuel Obaro at the state assembly level, adding that their collective efforts have continued to attract development and strengthen governance.
Speaking further, Hon. Paul conveyed the appreciation of Ward 06 residents to the governor, extending the goodwill to the broader Yagba East community. He assured party faithful and stakeholders of sustained mobilisation and unwavering support for the APC across all levels.
He also commended stakeholders in the ward for their unity and commitment to the party, urging them to remain steadfast in advancing the APC’s agenda in the area.
The endorsement is seen as part of ongoing political alignments within Kogi West, as party structures at the grassroots level continue to reaffirm loyalty and build momentum ahead of future electoral engagements.
