Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, on his re-election victory, describing the outcome as a powerful endorsement of performance-driven leadership, effective governance and the confidence of the people in the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Governor Ododo, in a congratulatory message issued on Monday, said the victory reflects the satisfaction of Ekiti residents with the direction and achievements of the Oyebanji administration, as well as their decision to support continuity, stability and further development.
He noted that Governor Oyebanji has demonstrated commitment to improving the lives of citizens through strategic policies, infrastructure development, responsible resource management and inclusive governance.
According to Ododo, the electoral victory shows that the people of Ekiti State have rewarded dedication, accountability and service-oriented leadership.
“The people of Ekiti State have spoken clearly through their votes. They have chosen continuity, progress and leadership that delivers results,” Governor Ododo stated.
The Kogi Governor said the success of Governor Oyebanji, alongside the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the federal level, continues to strengthen public confidence in the APC as a party committed to sustainable development and democratic dividends.
He maintained that the election outcome demonstrates that Nigerians recognise the importance of leadership that prioritises economic growth, security, institutional reforms and improved welfare for citizens.
Governor Ododo described Oyebanji’s re-election as not only a personal victory for the Ekiti Governor but also a reaffirmation of the growing acceptance of progressive governance across the country.
